Mind Warriors Academy is thrilled to host our inaugural Chess Festival in celebration of International Chess Day 2025!
This exciting two-day series of events will take place on:

  • Saturday, 19th July 2025 at Fatima College

  • Sunday, 20th July 2025 (venue to be confirmed)

The festival will bring together chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels for a weekend of friendly competition, community building, and celebration of the game’s global impact.

Event Highlights:

Saturday, 19 July 2025

  • Open Rapid Chess Tournament (FIDE Rated) including the following
    subcategories: Best Female, Under 20, Under 12, 50+

  • Novice Rapid Chess Tournament

Sunday, 20 July 2025

  • Freestyle Chess 960 Blitz

  • Open Blitz Tournament (FIDE Rated) including the following
    subcategories: Best Female, Under 20, Under 12, 50+

  • Prize-Giving Ceremony

Prizes will include cash, medals, and trophies for winners of the Open events, and trophies/medals for our novice players.

All players will compete for the Ultimate Champion trophy in each of the following categories: Open, Female, Under 20, Under 12, and 50+.

 

Pre-Registration

Participants are asked to complete the form below to pre-register for the various events. The Novice and Open Rapid tournaments on 19 July run concurrently. Participants are asked to select just ONE of these events on 19 July.
